"My father was a clown by profession. When I was 6 years old, I have always performed with my father. When I turned 18, my father encouraged me to create a character of my own and give it a go. I decided to follow my father’s footsteps and become a full-time children’s entertainer.
I am Louby Lou, based in the North West of England, UK.
I provide entertainment during parties, children's birthdays, schools, etc. Alongside party bookings, I also work at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and other charity hospitals. When kids, who are sick, at the hospital see me perform, they forget the pain and smile and laugh their hearts out. Moments such as these are always so satisfying.
When the pandemic hit the UK, all my work came to a stop. I did not want to sit idle, so I decided to use my skills and my service to make someone’s day happier. The lockdown was the hardest for kids. I partnered with a local cake company, and I went around to different doorsteps, giving cakes and some socially distanced moments with Louby Lou.
One of the child I delivered cakes too was 13 years old Ella, I have known her since she was a baby. I went to her doorstep during the lockdown and her reactions were so amazing to see. Watch the video and you will surely have a smile on your face.
These little experiences that I create for kids also make me realise how important it is to be good and to be kind to others. When you are nice to others, something nice will happen to you."
You Humanity pays respect and gratitude to Louby Lou for going above and beyond to contribute towards Humanity.
